Dancing fork in Jeju Island during winter

Dancing Fork

When tourist are avoiding Jeju Island in the winter, I bring my travelling companions there. Why? It's low season so prices are cheaper and less crowded. Plus, the weather is great too!

We checked into our AirBnB in the late afternoon after flying into Jeju without planning our dinner reservations. Little did we know that most places during winter do not open every day.

We initially planned on heading to Hwan2ne Osteria (italian restaurant) but the AirBnB host told us that it was full when we asked him to help with making a reservation. The ever wonderful host then managed to get us a table here which we were eternally grateful for. When we got there, we were suprised to see that it's just us in the restaurant. After a while, we learnt that the owner, who used to live in Ireland I think, opened the place just for us. Again, we were grateful to the owner for doing so and ordered a feast to feed us hungry and tired folks.

Every dish he served was executed on point and we thoroughly enjoyed every dish, the lambshank was the highlight of the dinner because it was soft and tender. The other dish that blew my mind is the olive oil pasta. Simple but yet so yummy.

Cheese Platter

Oysters

Olive oil pasta

Wicklow Lamb Shank

This place is in the back alley so you may miss it if you drive in Jeju. So turn on Naver and the GPS will guide you there. Reservations are required because their team only consist of 2 people.
